This piece describes nearly everything I’ve been observing and experiencing, but for far longer. I was never political – as I describe myself as a voluntaryist – until Bush Jr. ran for president. After his unconstitutional selection in 2000 and then 911, I aligned with democrats because of their antiwar stance. Marched with them in NYC and in DC protesting the Bush Cheney Reign of Terror…and then along came Obama. I watched in horror as he targeted civilians in schools, hospitals, at weddings and funerals, and then drone slaughtered the rescue workers and a 16 year old American boy in Yemen in 2011 prior to his re-election as our second successive war criminal president. And all the while, my tribe was either silent over that which we had marched against when it was Bush slaughtering innocents, or they sternly admonished me (the beginning of their authoritarianism / adoration of authority and institutions) that ‘it was all LEGAL.’ So something was being done to them way back then, because then came the inexplicable Trump venom in 2015 that melted their brains so badly I had to get them out of my social media feeds…and all their insanity throughout Trump’s first term over patently absurd narratives…and then came ‘covid.’ And I had to flee. Overnight, they became hypnotically glued to their red and blue flashing television screens and three word sing song slogans (wash your hands, wear a mask, six feet apart, flatten the curve) and allowed themselves to be screamed at like children through loudpseakers and shuffled one way through stores not making eye contact and stood on stickers, infantalized.

I don’t know if the spell can be broken and I myself am close to breaking all these years later as I lost it all to these horrific false narratives that literally weaponized my former tribe. They spit venom and hope we die, as I was told to do during ‘covid,’ which was then projected onto anyone asking a question of any ‘approved’ official narrative, questioners being called ‘Trump supporting white supremacist insurrectionist science denying antivaxxers.’ And then called ‘domestic terrorists’ by the current ‘president.’

But I’ve been isolated during the years following the onset of ‘covid’ in more than a bit of PTSD, with weird health problems defying diagnosis probably related to the shock of losing it all and the mental incredulity of watching half of the planet go bonkers without a hint of cessation, sanity, OR humor… and perhaps it all does come down to a sense of humor that we need to return to. Hope to find out soon.

Thank you for your insight and for putting a lot of my ill defined albeit strongly felt thoughts and feelings into words.

William Stafford wrote something that may help you along

The Way it is

There’s a thread you follow. It goes among

things that change. But it doesn’t change.

People wonder about what you are pursuing.

You have to explain about the thread.

But it is hard for others to see.

While you hold it you can’t get lost.

Tragedies happen; people get hurt

or die; and you suffer and get old.

Nothing you do can stop time’s unfolding.

You don’t ever let go of the thread.

Cult? Absolutely … excellent piece!

Of course, in the 1950's and '60's the Asch and Milgram experiments let the criminocracy know that the indoctrination's success was highly likely … as did, more recently, 9-11 and Russiagate, which proved that any narrative the security state wished to promote — no matter how patently absurd — would be believed by most, so long as the media cartel played-along in rigorous lockstep.

Here's a short poem that covers some of this cultishness … https://redpillpoems.substack.com/p/in-the-age-of-unreason

I think the enormity of the lie is also a factor. I think there are people who readily disbelieve the authorities when it comes to lesser lies - say WMD - but when the lie is enormous they can't come at it.

Bob Moran talks about how people don't want to recognise that those in power want to harm us - this is an interesting comment on how it's a confusing time for satire. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/eXmkTZIlVLs

I have ave an original Bob in the guest bathroom. I think some of it is what economists refer to as the sunk cost problem. People invested so much of themselves in the lie it’s impossible to let it go.

Keeping, if i may?

Very well reasoned.

Am I crazy myself...for thinking that the jabs themselves, carrying liponano particles to the brain...cut off the connection?

I know that people go mad in groups..and only return to reason individually....or so they say.

But the switch....looking at people who've been jabbed....there is no light behind the eyes anymore.....

It is noticable...before you could see fear...after the jab? Something is missing from them.

Yes of course and thank you.

I’m minded (all puns intentional) to believe the disconnect is psychological rather than physical but anything is possible.

Brilliantly put mate, I am personally still trying to quantify what went on during the 2020's to the present year. I reckon you've capsulated the madness in very eloquent terms. See if this quote from Gustave Le Bon has any relevance :

"The masses have never thirsted after truth. Whoever can supply them with illusions is easily their master; whoever attempts to destroy their illusions is always their victim." ~ Gustave Le Bon

Thank you. Nice quote, puts me in mind of the Don Draper classic ‘People want to be told what to do so badly that they’ll listen to anyone’. Also one of my own - people hate you much more when they realise you are right than they did when they thought you were wrong.

Great post. If you want to follow it up, I recommend a post about Jack Kruse, done by Unbekoming, here on substack:

The interview is 4hrs 15mins long. I'm up to 2hrs 30 mins and so far so very interesting. The Q&A gives a much quicker summary.

A perfect description of the way religion has controlled its subjects for the last 2000 years. Health is the new religion and the WHO is the new Church. And for our own and others good we are given the new Sacrament. If you don’t take there new potion you are branded an evil heretic. Still the same game. Severe the connection from body to Soul. Zombies must be easier to control than free thinking Spiritual Beings.
